Infant High Grade Gliomas
Fifty-six tumors previously diagnosed as High-Grade Glioma in patients younger than 5- years were re-characterized using histology, next-generation sequencing, and methylation. Through molecular interrogation of these tumors, we identified that they are biologically heterogeneous with unique methylation patterns and genomic drivers. Moreover, the biology of the tumors had a direct relationship to clinical outcomes in this uniformly treated cohort of patients.
